Coastal Comedy is a monthly stand-up comedy show of live entertainment in Bournemouth, Poole and Lymington for over 18’s. In their first year they reached the semi-finals for ‘Best Night Out’ as part of the prestigious Bournemouth Tourism Awards, reached the finalist stage in 2017 and have now become a finalist for the Best Night Out as part of the Bournemouth and Poole Tourism Awards 2018 (BAPTAs).
The night has a line up of 3 professional comedians including a TV Headliner as seen on programmes such as: Mock the week (BBC2), 8 Out of 10 Cats (Channel 4) or Live at the Apollo (BBC1) for example. Plus the host is fabulous. This is a great night out for couples, work do’s, groups of friends, or come on your own just ensure you book early to avoid any disappointment.

Coastal Comedy shows offer you a great chance to see a famous face close up and personal in a superb intimate setting. They pride themselves on bringing the very best stand up comics on the circuit together for a fantastic line up and acts that have graced the stage include: Gary Delaney, Zoe Lyons, Angela Barnes, Jarred Christmas, Joel Dommett, Ed Gamble, Bob Mills – just to name a few. There is a very friendly atmosphere at each show and you can network and make new friends too.
This Friday sees Paul Tonkinson take to the stage.
On TV, he’s performed on BBC One’s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Comedy Central’s The Comedy Store and The World Stands-up. He’s also been a contestant on Channel 4`s hit show Celebrity Come Dine With Me and has completed a stint as a Programme Associate on BBC One’s Michael McIntyre Chat Show.
