As the weather hots-up the events calendar across Poole, Bournemouth & Christchurch gets into full swing. Here’s our pick of the top events you won’t want to miss in summer 2023!

  1. Highcliffe Food & Arts Festival, 10th – 11th June

    Set across the high street and recreation ground of Highcliffe, the festival is a celebration of the areas finest local produce, crafts and cooking. Look out for fabulous street food, artisan stalls, celebrity chefs, demonstrations, live music, children’s entertainment and much, much more.

  2. Upton Country Park Festival 7th – 8th July

    An annual 2-day festival held at the stunning Upton Country Park. Featuring the world’s best tribute acts. Friday is a dedicated ‘Ladies Night’, featuring Rihanna, Little Mix, Dua Lipa, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga tributes! Saturday is dedicated to some of the best-selling Superstar acts in history with leading tributes to AC/DC, Queen, The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Elton John and Michael Jackson!

  3. Sandbanks Sandpolo, 8th – 9th July

    Poole hosts the British Beach Polo Championships which is one of the largest beach polo events in the world. The event combines live polo with great food and an evening party on both days, both with a different theme.

  4. Sandfest, 9th July

    Sandfest is a firm fixture on the summer calendar with top class acts performing on the stunning Sandbanks Beach.

  5. Groove On The Green, 15th – 16th July

    Ashley Cross plays host to Groove On The Green which celebrates it’s 20th anniversary this year. The event combines live music on the main stage with a private gin bar and real ale and cider tent stocking the best that Dorset can offer. There is also a wide variety of family fun activity’s including children’s rides, games and arts & crafts.

  6. Christchurch Music Festival, 21st – 23rd July 2023

    The ultimate weekend of local live music, featuring DJ’s, big bands and a whole lot of fun for everyone! The festival will be jam-packed with incredible performances, delicious food, and refreshing drinks, making it the perfect way to let loose and enjoy yourself this summer.

  7. Poole Harbour Festival 28th – 30th July

    Poole and Bournemouth’s biggest and best family and live music festival returns for its seventh year at Baiter Park. We anticipate that this year will be even BIGGER AND BETTER than ever before with over 50 live acts scheduled across four stages!

  8. Poole Quay Summer Fireworks, Every Thursday Between 27th July – 31st August

    Every Thursday between the 27th of July and the 31st of August, Poole Quay enjoys a party atmosphere with live music, entertainment and family fun before finishing with a firework finale over the largest natural harbour in Europe.

  9. Bournemouth Air Festival, 30th August – 3rd September

    The UK’s largest Air festival with a weekend of exciting entertainment on land, sea and air with a full 4 days of displays by the Red Arrows and a whole lot more besides!
