Lovett Team Up With Poole Pirates

In exciting, partnership news, Lovett International is delighted to be sponsoring current Poole Pirates Manager, and former Great Britain Speedway rider, Neil Middleditch.

Neil Middleditch has a long, lucrative career as a Speedway rider spanning over 15 years between 1973 – 1986. During his time as a rider, he received a number of accolades including a team winners medal in the New National League KO Cup in 1975. He was also crowned the National League Riders Champion, whilst riding for Arena Essex Hammers in 1985.

Since 1999, Neil has had an illustrious career as the Team Manager of our local Speedway team, Poole Pirates. Whilst in his command, the team have picked up numerous trophies over Neil’s 20 year reign. These titles include two-time Elite League Championship and the Elite League Knockout Cup, three-time Craven Shield winners, and also two time British League Cup winners.

Middleditch also managed the Great Britain Speedway team between 2001 – 2008, where his team narrowly missed out on a World Cup Winners trophy losing by one point in 2004.

Poole Pirates kick off their new season on  Wednesday 3^rd April against Somerset and we cannot wait to be sponsoring the main man himself. We’ll be there watching him guide his team to what will hopefully be a very successful 2019! Be sure to look out for the Lovett logo on Neil’s cap and t-shirt!
