Festive Events In Bournemouth You Do Not Want To Miss!

Are you planning to make the most of the festive season with events in the area?

There is so much to offer which doesn’t have to break the bank. We’ve found some of the best, which are guaranteed to get you in the festive mood and can be enjoyed with all your friends and family. Where to start? Try Lovett’s list of handpicked favourites.

Bournemouth Town Centre and Gardens

Event Date: 14 November 2019 – 6 January 2020

FOR MINIATURE ONES

Rinky Dinks is an ice skating space for young ones to experience the ice, away from the main adult rink. A safe and secure environment to learn and play. Plenty of space for adults to contribute and help the small ones.

GAMES ON ICE – GLIDERS

If you like a little bit of competition, you’ll love the on ice game Gliders. Think ten pin bowling meets curling on the UK’s only gliders rink, with its very own under cover bar and waiter service. Challenge your friends, take on your work colleagues, maybe even start a league?

ALPINE BAR

Sit back and enjoy a warm mulled wine, some comfort food and let the cosiness take over while you visit the Market Alpine Bar. You could be in Val d ’Isere with the vibe in here. Book a private function or just call in after a long shop.

Christmas Lights at Kingston Lacy

Event Date: 25 November – 5 January 4-7pm

Wrap up warm and see Kingston Lacy house and garden bathed in light this December with a new illuminated experience transforming the Formal Garden on those winter evenings.

For the first time the stunning display along the iconic Lime Avenue will feature a new and interactive experience. Have fun pushing the buttons to light each tree with a bold colour to create your own light display.

This event is free to attend but normal property admission applies for non-National Trust members. Pre-booking for the illuminations is not required, however if you would like to visit the house before or after your walk, please remember to book your free house entry ticket in advance.
