Philip is a highly motivated, meticulous and a hands on business owner. Success and building a highly respectful business and running a superb team are his motivation factors. With over 20 years’ experience in the international property market he aims to shoot for the stars. He worked in the UK, Cyprus, Romania, Turkey and the USA in various roles and is always looking for the next property cycle. Part of his strategy is to visit as many countries each year as possible, looking for the best property investment deals to provide his clients. An avid investor himself, he is usually the first buyer on any new property offering. Philip loves jogging, swimming and skiing. His passions are reading, property and football.

Monica is an experienced property marketer. She has bags of experience in the international property market working in Cyprus, Turkey and Romania. Monica also runs the back office for the organisation. She is well versed in the legal matters in many jurisdictions and she can ensure the smooth transition from the inception of a sale to completion. Her hobbies are keeping fit, running half marathons, reading, interior design and the latest technology. Monica has a positive mentality and always thinks outside of box. She found passion in her own self-improvement on all levels and in making life better in all respects.

Steve Ballam is the owner of the Martin & Co Poole business and, with over 20 years of experience in the property and lettings industry, he brings extensive knowledge of the local market. Steve is committed to providing sellers, landlords and tenants with reliable, professional support, earning a strong reputation for exceptional service. Outside of work, Steve enjoys travel, cooking, and staying fit.

James has lived in the Poole & Bournemouth area for over 25 years and has an extensive knowledge of the conurbation. He started his career in the property industry in 2015 following his graduation from the University of Kent, Canterbury and has worked in a variety of different roles in this time. Formerly a Sales Manager, he brings an in-depth understanding of the industry to his current role as Marketing Manager at Martin & Co. Outside of work James enjoys being out on the water, spending time with family and friends, exploring the New Forest, the Purbeck’s and holidays in Europe and the States.

Jen has worked with Martin & Co since the beginning of 2024, bringing with her a private portfolio of properties and is building her client base with an efficient, professional and trustworthy approach. Before joining, Jen spent 5 years managing an independent Lettings business, and previous to that her career was focused in the hospitality industry. In over 20 years she set up her own businesses as well as manage some high-end restaurants, organise VIP weddings and oversee international conferences.

Sue is our Office and Lettings Manager with over 35 years of experience in the property industry. Sue has worked within the Poole office for 18 years covering all job roles until she became the Office and Letting Manager in 2015. Sue prides herself on high levels of customer service. When she is not helping clients find their perfect home, you can find her driving her classic car or cuddling her many cats.

Chloe joined Martin & Co Poole in March 2025 as a Senior Sales Negotiator, bringing with her over four years of experience in the estate agency industry. With a strong background in customer service, she is passionate about delivering a high standard of service and consistently strives to meet and exceed clients' expectations. Outside of work, Chloe enjoys CrossFit, travelling, and spending quality time with family and friends.

David began his estate agency career in 2004 and has progressed from trainee level to managing successful sales offices across Poole and Bournemouth for over fifteen years. With extensive experience across changing market conditions, he provides clear, strategic advice designed to achieve the best possible outcome for his clients. His local knowledge, negotiation skills, and calm, professional approach ensure every move is handled with confidence. A former member of the British Judo Team, David brings discipline, focus and determination to every transaction. Outside of work, he enjoys renovating property, spending time on the water, and being with family and friends.

Camilla’s journey in the lettings began in 2022. After starting as a Lettings Administrator, she quickly discovered her passion for the Property Industry. A year later, she started training as a Lettings Negotiator and hasn’t looked back since. In September 2024, Camilla became part of the Martin & Co team through the merger with Lovett International. Since joining the Martin & Co team, Camilla has gained more knowledge and experience, providing her with the confidence to help and support her clients through the rental process with ease. Camilla enjoys all aspects of her role and takes pride in matching clients to their new homes and supporting landlords through the journey from an initial market appraisal to the tenant move in day. Outside of work, Camilla enjoys spending time with family and friends, and is often exploring new places on long walks with her dog, Reggie.

Oliver is a dedicated senior Lettings Negotiator at Martin & Co in Poole, where he specializes in connecting tenants with their ideal rental properties. With an in-depth understanding of the local market, Oliver ensures that both tenants and landlords have a seamless experience throughout the rental process. Outside of work, Oliver is passionate about staying fit and enjoys going to the gym regularly. He also loves gardening and exploring new places in his spare time.

Garry is a passionate and dedicated property professional with a strong background in sales.  He started his career as a sales negotiator in September 2020 before moving to sales progression.  Now a Senior Sales Negotiator, he thrives on helping clients make their perfect move and achieving great results along the way.  He loves the fast-paced nature of the industry and the opportunity to meet new people every day.  Friendly and approachable, Garry takes pride in building strong relationships, making the buying / selling process as smooth as possible.   Outside of work, he enjoys keeping active, and playing golf with friends.

Brandon began his estate agency career in 2023, bringing a practical background in the building trade and a genuine passion for property. His hands-on knowledge of construction and presentation provides clients with valuable insight when preparing a home for sale. In 2025, Brandon became Martin & Co Bournemouth’s highest-selling consultant, a testament to his dedication, negotiation skills, and results-focused approach. He takes particular pride in completion day, knowing he has played a key role in helping vendors and purchasers move smoothly. Outside work, Brandon enjoys travelling, dining out, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Molly joined Martin and Co Poole in 2025 as a Lettings Negotiator, bringing with her hands-on experience in the property industry. Committed to achieving the best outcomes for both landlords and tenants, Molly aims to make the lettings experience efficient, transparent, and stress-free from the very first viewing through clear communication, ensuring smooth negotiations. Outside of work, Molly enjoys travelling, pilates and spending time with friends.

Nicky Jackson is a Property Manager with 4 years of experience in lettings and property management. Nicky has learned a lot along the way and prides herself on building great relationships with Landlords, tenants, and contractors. When not managing properties, you can find Nicky walking her dog or diving into a good book and spending time with family and friends.

Patrick has been immersed in estate agency since the age of 17, gaining experience across Hertfordshire, London, and Bournemouth. His career spans residential sales, lettings, and new build developments, giving him a broad and well-rounded understanding of the property market. Having worked as a manager in London and as a self-employed consultant, Patrick has built a strong track record of success. His depth of experience allows him to guide clients with clarity, confidence, and insight at every stage of their property journey. Patrick genuinely loves estate agency and takes pride in helping clients achieve their goals. Known for his dedication, professionalism, and client-focused approach, he ensures every step of the process is smooth, rewarding, and stress-free.

Jolene joined Martin & Co Bournemouth in July 2022. She has 6 years of experience in property management and is a confident, highly experienced, motivated individual with good organisational and communication skills. High level of people management skills, able to lead, influence and motivate individuals and teams at all levels. Strategic thinking individual, who enjoys responsibility and works well under pressure to meet deadlines and adoption of best practice in the interests of the company and business needs. Strong team player, with sound operational knowledge within a multi cultured environment. Proactive individual who excels and adapts in an ever changing and challenging environment. Excellent administrative skills and a clear understanding of IT systems.

Kayleigh has been a Property Manager with Martin & Co. for 15 years. Although she has had experience in most roles within the office, she currently tackles account enquiries, rent arrears and maintenance queries. Kayleigh enjoys running, cycling, camping, and good food while juggling a busy life with two little ones.

Kirsty joined Martin & Co in January 2023 as a Property Manager, bringing valuable experience from her previous roles as an Inventory Clerk and Trainee Manager. Her diverse background in the property industry allows her to manage properties efficiently and effectively. Outside of work, Kirsty enjoys reading, photography, socialising with friends, and travelling. Her passion for these hobbies adds a creative touch to her professional approach.

Maria joined Martin & Co in January 2026 and has always had a keen interest in property. Prior to joining the team, she worked as an Administrator within the lettings department of another local agency, gaining valuable industry experience and a strong understanding of the rental sector. Now working as a Property Manager, Maria combines her excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and commitment to customer service to ensure both landlords and tenants receive the highest level of support. Her proactive approach and ability to build positive relationships help ensure tenancies run smoothly from start to finish. Outside of work, Maria enjoys attending concerts and spending time outdoors, particularly taking walks along the beach with her dog.

Elliott joined the Martin & Co Bournemouth team in May 2026, bringing with him valuable experience gained at another well-respected local estate agency, where he developed a strong foundation across the property industry. With a natural flair for sales and a genuine passion for working with people, Elliott thrives in the fast-paced and professional environment that estate agency offers. He takes great pride in building strong relationships with clients and is committed to delivering a high level of customer service throughout every stage of the property journey. Known for his approachable manner, strong communication skills and proactive attitude, Elliott is dedicated to achieving the very best outcomes for his clients, whether they are buying, selling, letting or renting. His enthusiasm for property, combined with his drive to go the extra mile, is reflected in the service he provides to every client he works with.

Olivia joined Martin & Co in November 2025 as a Property Manager. With hands-on experience in property maintenance, she has a strong understanding of how properties operate on a day-to-day basis. She takes a practical and organised approach to her role, focusing on resolving issues efficiently and providing clear, reliable support to both landlords and tenants. Outside of work, Olivia enjoys going to the gym, photography, and travelling, and loves discovering new places whenever she gets the chance.

Sarah has been with Martin & Co for 10 years, serving as the Office Administrator. In this role, she is responsible for completing all the necessary paperwork for move-ins for tenants and landlords, she also handles any other tasks required by Steve and Sue. Her attention to detail and commitment to supporting the team ensure that all administrative needs are met efficiently and accurately. Sarah’s experience and dedication make her an essential part of the team, and she takes pride in her role in ensuring smooth operations. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and friends, listening to music, and taking walks in the countryside with her beloved spaniel, Bertie.
