About Boscombe Spa

Boscombe Spa is a small suburb to the east of Bournemouth Town Centre, predominantly known for its sea front apartments and holiday location.

Originally a sparsely inhabited area of heathland around 1865, it has rapidly developed into a seaside location, dominated by Boscombe Pier, the sea front and its adjoining Boscombe Chine Gardens, which have been transformed over recent decades with the help of the local community to become a real feature.

Popular with residents and tourists the area has a mix of Victorian homes, many of which have been converted into smaller apartments. In recent years modern developments have been built, many with sea views which look over the bay.

Along the sea front there is a real holiday feel with a selection of pubs and restaurants, surf shops and snack bars.
