Outdoor Space
BCP council has been awarded 23 Green Flags which recognises and rewards well-managed parks and green spaces. Here are some we recommend: Slades Farm, Meyrick Park, Talbot Woods, Talbot Heath Local Nature Reserve, Coy Pond, Bournemouth Velodrome or Pugs Hole Natural Reserve Area.
Transport Links
Talbot Village is well connected to all areas of Dorset with easy access into Bournemouth via the Wessex Way or Wimborne Road, and bus routes which go through Poole and Bournemouth. There are mainline rail links to London Waterloo from Poole & Bournemouth train stations. If you’re looking to go further afield, Bournemouth Airport offers International Flights to Europe and the nearby Port of Poole offers ferry services to France and The Channel Islands.

Poole & Bournemouth play host to a wide variety of exciting events throughout the calendar year, including; festivals, firework displays, air shows, seafood festivals, theatre performances, concerts, exhibitions and sporting fixtures. One thing is for sure, you will never be bored!
